Draping fun Level 2
Come back and make another piece of glass art. Now you have completed our Level 1 Plate making workshop, you can use your new-found fusing skills to create another piece of glass.
The 3 hours gives you time to brush up on your cutting skills and have some fun doing a drape.
Make it in the colour combination and design of your choosing. We usually create a piece that fits on a 30 x 30cm kiln shelf. We fuse it once and when you are happy with it, we will drape it. It’s so much fun!
Everything is included! All glass, your tools and all firings. Come and have some fun making your own sculptural piece like the ones in the images here.
This workshop is designed for anyone who has attended my Absolute Beginners Workshop.
It’ll will be available for pick-up from Our Hidden Studio in Richmond studio 14 days after your time here.
As always, you need to be able to stand securely on both feet to be a part of any of my workshops and particularly at this location as the toilets are upstairs. Of course, you must be over 18 years of age and need to wear enclosed shoes, no tank tops and abide by all the Covid19 laws of the day. (If you’d like to make a different size please feel free to ask so I have the correct kiln shelves and base glass piece ready for you. Extra costs may apply.)
Because so few people book into this class, it is now a one-to-one workshop in Our Hidden Studio, Burnley Street, Richmond and you need to email me so we can work out a date that works for us both. [email protected]
Call to arrange a time to come and play. If you want to make this with your friends, please look up my Party Platter workshops in Thomastown where loads of people can play and create together using all of my molds and glass pieces.
Workshop Dates Coming Soon….in the meantime, please email me to register your interest.
