By popular demand, since Covid, I’ve been getting more and more requests for people to book more “private” time in the studio. So if you’ve finished my Level 2 workshops you are very welcome to come to the studio and have a play, maybe its just you and me, maybe its you and your bestie.
If you want to do that, simply book the date and I’ll alter the number of seats available, that’s easy to do. If you want this private workshop to be for your and your family, let me know and I’ll add that number of seats for you all, when you’ve fixed your date. What fun! Everyone can make something different. You can choose your favourite size, favourite colours, and favourite shapes, and I’ll help you make it happen! Unless its beyond my skill level of course, then we’ll find out a way of doing it. Let’s do it!
But that’s just the start – you have lots of other options!
The price of this workshop includes each of you making one of these:
- The elegant elongated platter is 20cms x 35cms ($199).
- Make a 25cms x 25cm platter ($199).
- Make a 20cms x 20cms drape ($199).
- Make a retro sculpture ($199) if you are a super confident cutter.
- Make eight art glass coasters ($199).
- Make a 20cm diameter round plate ($199)
Additional costs will be incurred if you choose to make the following items, here’s a guide of how much they’ll cost.
- A beautiful long baguette platter that is 15cms x 50cms will cost you $255 to make.
- The Giant Fruit Platter is 33cms x 44cms and will cost you $295 to make.
- The Woven-look Fruit Platter is 30cms x 30cms and will cost you $345 to make.
- Make a “Leaf Litter” Sculpture – cost $235 to make.
- The Blue Wave you see above ($295 to make)
- 35cm diameter bowl ($375 to make)
- I’ll get you to transfer the difference to me during the workshop.
Let me know what you’re thinking of creating when you book in, so that I can have the glass and the correct size kiln shelf available for you. Choose from our large selection of transparent colours, opaque colours, stringers, noodles and rods and “part sheets” that are in the studio at the time of your workshop. If you want particular colours or glass type, you’re best advised to check with me a week in advance so you have exactly the glass you want in stock. I must add that if you want to use loads of red and orange in a really large design, we might have to adjust some of these quoted prices.
The prerequisite for all the above is that you have all attended my LEVEL TWO WORKSHOP.
Once again, please wear clothes that includes some kind of sleeve (not a tank top), and closed toe shoes, (no thongs, no sandals that expose your toes). This studio is upstairs so you need to be able to climb our staircase.
If you’d like to bring refreshments, alcohol or nibbles to this workshop – that’s fine, assuming you are over 18 years of age.
You’ll be photographed during this workshop, please let me know if you don’t want this to happen. Its just for my website and my social media.
Once the class is over and the clean up is done, all you need to do is wait for an email from me showing the progress of your art pieces and I’ll let you know by email when it’ll be ready to be picked u from Richmond. This is usually about 14 days after the workshop.
Your masterpiece will be held here at the studio for 3 months afterwards and then it’ll be donated to charity.
For the moment only with people who are fully vaccinated can attend my classes. (I have 2 family members who are in the “at risk” category) so please be aware of this before you book. I am fully vaccinated as of February 2022. We adhere to the Covid19 rules of the day. If you have been unwell, stay away and we’ll reschedule at no cost to another time when you are recovered.
If you don’t see a time and date that suits you here please email me and we will add a new date that suits you.
