It gets properly cold in Missouri, USA – you can see how cold it gets there! So different from our home in Melbourne, especially now in mid summer!
I was so delighted when one of my pieces called “Winter Puddles” was sold to Missouri last week. Here’s the design which I call “Winter Puddles” which was inspired by a winter walk in Europe.
It’s now on its way and will arrive when its deep winter in Missouri. I think the people there know a thing or two about Winter Puddles!
I have tried to combine smoothly angular art deco styling with the monochromatic impression made on me during my walk. Sometimes winter landscapes can be so beautiful – watery, icy, snowy.
It’s also perfectly suited to today’s minimalist decor trends.
